DIY lounges, Pop-Up Nail Salons, uniquely crafted clothing and all by designers and artist from across the country. In only one month, San Diego is going to get the opportunity to take part in the Indie and Design oriented THREAD Show. On October 9, 2011, at the Horton Plaza, you will find a variety of companies ranging in fashion and entertainment right downtown. It's an opportunity to go out, do some shopping, enjoy good music, and witness art in all different ways. As a newbie to San Diego, I'm always looking for new events to attend or new things to try. After my first week of interning for Elle Communications, I have learned quite about this THREAD Show and I can't wait for this change of pace shopping experience. It's always nice to have a break from those crowded hot malls and this is going to be the place to switch it up at!
