After a few internship experiences last year, I was fortunate enough to be lead to a new opportunity in San Diego and with the most coveted publication in the city - San Diego Magazine. As an Event Planning/Social Media intern my journey has just begun and for my first day on the job I was lucky enough to see what weeks of hard work and planning turns out to look like. 

Women of the Year is an annual event and this year it was held at the notorious La Costa Resort in Carlsbad. How I hadn't been to this hotel before is beside me, but the quaint, beautiful destination was a perfect venue to award the most successful business women of San Diego.

First day with the Magazine and couldn't have asked for a better way to do it. Looking forward to future projects, events and good times with the team!
