Each Sunday I constantly dread the Monday that is about to come. I’m sure you can relate when I say it is a day that rings, e-mails galore, a lot of work, and the start of anticipating the weekend that seems years away. It’s sad to say that sometimes dreading this day takes a toll on my entire weekend, but it’s true. Why do we tend to make Mondays such a monstrous day, when it is in fact a new day we are alive and a chance to give ourselves goals and opportunities to make this week even better than the last. It’s a new slate that allows us to better ourselves, as a friend, student, or sister and it should be refreshing to begin this next week. This is the first day of the week, a day to kick the next five days off to a good start – set goals, work hard and take each day as it comes because each time you wish the week is over, the more time is passing…we only have so much of it! Make each Monday matter; get an early start, make a list of what you need to accomplish, get motivated and smile MORE!
